TYPES OF ITEMS
What we value
- Gold jewellery
- Scrap gold
- Silver jewellery
What is taken into account in the valuation?
- The metal and its actual fineness, which need to be checked; the hallmark is a first clue.
- Net weight of the metal in grams, separately from stones and other parts.
- The condition of the item and its possible value as a whole item, not only as metal.
Which photos and details should I add?
Describe the material, fineness and approximate weight if you know them. Photograph the hallmarks and the whole item.
Add the type of item, the visible hallmark and the weight in grams only if you know them. You do not need to remove stones or other parts yourself.
You don't need to know everything. Leave an optional field empty or choose “Don't know”. Photos are recommended, but you can continue without them.
Ordinary phone photos are fine. Please do not include personal data in the photos.
Preliminary valuation and final offer
Based on your description and photos, we give a preliminary valuation. It is not binding. We make the final offer once we have examined the item. The request does not oblige you to sell.
GOOD TO KNOW
Frequently asked questions
What if there is no hallmark?
Add a photo of the whole item and all visible markings. A missing hallmark does not prevent you from starting; the actual fineness can only be established by checking the item.
Is the weight of the whole item the weight of the metal?
Not always. Stones, fillings and other parts can add to the total weight. The calculation uses the net weight of the metal, not the weight of the whole item.
